上海机场边检站方面12日披露，中新互免签证实施3天，经上海浦东国际机场口岸出入境的两国免签人员多达10837人次，占往来两国旅客总数的九成，其中中国内地居民近1万人次，是去年同期的15倍。同时，上海浦东国际机场也迎来了870余名免签入境的新加坡籍旅客，是去年同期的9倍，以旅游和春节探亲访友者为主。
